CMS and the accrediting organizations presently enforce NFPA 110-2010. Our presenter, David Stymiest with SSR, will review major changes that have occurred since that edition (in the 2013, 2016 and 2019 editions.) David will also review other related topics in the public domain as part of this program.

David Stymiest, SSR, our presenter for this program, is a hospital engineer with over 40 years of industry experience. He is an accomplished speaker, trainer, and author who has spoken regularly at several dozen national and state conferences over the past 25 years and has been published over 50 times. He is a registered professional engineer in three states; and is a CHFM, CHSP and an ASHE Fellow. David is an ASHE Faculty member and has served as the 10-year Chairman of the NFPA 110 committee. He is also acknowledged as a forward-thinking leading industry expert in the management, operation, testing, and application of emergency power systems in healthcare facilities.
