Mr. Brennan Scott will be giving a presentation on DNV GL Healthcare ISO 9001 requirements and the recently added environmental training class (CHOP) tailored specifically to the hospital physical environment setting.

1. Describe the DNV GL Physical Environment survey process.
2. Discuss the NIAHO® Requirements that apply to the Physical Environment.
3. Outline how the integration of ISO 9001 concepts affect the development of a hospital’s Physical Environment Management System procedures.
4. Discuss current issues and common findings related to the NIAHO® Physical Environment Management accreditation survey.
5. CHOP – Certified Healthcare Operations Professional (This is our newest training we offer tailored to facilities staff in the healthcare industry)

About the Speaker:

Brennan Scott – Physical Environment Sector Leader, DNV-GL Healthcare

Brennan resides in Plainfield, Indiana and has been with DNV GL since 2010. He is a Physical Environment Sector Leader and a Lead Surveyor for DNV-GL Healthcare. Brennan has performed nearly 400 surveys for DNV-GL and has surveyed hospitals in 42 states throughout the United States for DNV-GL.

Brennan holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University – Indianapolis and is a Certified Healthcare Operations Professional (CHOP). He is also a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and 14001 and a certified NIAHO® Lead Surveyor.
